Job Title: Residential Cleaner
Position: Contractor
Pay: Paid per job (average $1,000 to $3,500 monthly depending on the number of jobs completed)
The Residential Cleaner uses organization and cleaning skills to support our clients in
maintaining a clean home that is peaceful and comfortable — and that make our clients
feel valued. The residential cleaner is responsible for assisting the client with what they
need within the guidelines of what we are supposed to clean.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Able to clean 1-3 homes in a day when scheduled
- Able and understands how and what basic and deep cleans consist of
- Willing to be trained on proper basic and deep cleans
- Willing and able to clean occupied and vacant homes (sometimes alone or while customer is present)
- Must be customer oriented
- Able and willing to follow cleaning checklist when necessary
- Able and willing to drive between 20 – 35 miles (most likely to first location on schedule)
- Able and willing to work some Saturdays (Sundays we typically don’t schedule anything, unless that is
a day you want to work) - Communicates with Management for any special requests or duties
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Willing to be flexible regarding scheduling based on business demands
- Must have own transportation
- Preferred that you have own cleaning supplies
- 1 – 2 years cleaning experience is highly preferred
- Willingness to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and/or Holidays as needed (not
always necessary) - Preferred U.S. citizen or have ITIN and able to fill out W-9
- Able to speak English (not preferred if you can successfully communicate thru text)
Desired Qualifications & Traits
- Prior experience with the handling of cleaning chemicals
- Excellent customer service skills
- Previous deep cleaning or general cleaning experience
- Can have own company or be individual cleaner
Physical Requirements
- Able to climb on step ladders as necessary
- Able to push/pull refrigerator or stove from wall to clean debris under
- Able to bend, stretch, and twist as necessary for the job
- Able to stand, kneel or squat for long periods of time as necessary for the job
- Able to work with cleaning chemicals according to directions
